| House in Raleigh - Brier Creek |
Keith's company relocated us to Raleigh so that Keith could run one of the regions. While Keith had started the job a few months prior, we found a house in Brier Creek in May and moved in late June. We only spent about two days looking for houses and with the help of our NC friends, we were easily convinced to not move to Cary and to take the house in Brier Creek (in Raleigh).

The movers showed up at our house in Colorado and packed everything in one day - Shawna was stunned that they could do it all so quickly. She was also a bit nervous that they only used paper (and not rolls of bubble wrap) but nothing broke so they must know what they were doing!

So, we had the movers bringing all of our stuff from Colorado, including our cars which were shipped. And, we had Keith's dad (Dick) bringing all of our new furniture that we had bought through Shawna's dad's store. Dick drove a Uhaul to Louisiana from Texas, picked up the furniture and then drove it to NC. While Keith was working, Shawna and Dick unpacked everything during the week and had it all squared away in time for July 4th weekend when Keith's mother (Jean) and his sister (Margaret) came to visit.
